In this role, you will leverage your up-to-the-minute expertise to create, execute, and refine actionable plans, ensuring the success of our Mobile Engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include engaging in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects, partaking in peer code reviews, and supporting team development initiatives. Additionally, you’ll play a pivotal role in implementing business solutions and providing mobile engineering support, while also troubleshooting and resolving production issues related to mobile devices.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in building scalable eCommerce applications or mobile software, you’ll be well-prepared to make a significant impact.

Key qualifications include:

• Proficiency in mobile software development utilizing Java.
• Familiarity with distributed source code version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub.
• Experience working within the Agile methodology, specifically Scrum.
• Development skills for mobile network clients using the HTTP protocol, REST APIs, and Google Cloud Messaging.
• Knowledge of Google Play APIs, including Maps, Location services, and Cloud Messaging.
• Competence in software debugging techniques with tools such as loggers and crash report tools.
• Expertise in analyzing memory issues, including memory leaks, using debugging and memory analysis tools (DDMS, MAT).
• Exposure to embedded real-time systems with minimized resources.
• A solid foundation in Android software development principles, along with understanding design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proven capabilities in unit and integration testing for Android applications.
• A published Android application is a must.
