Adventure Technology Services is a small IT contractor headquartered in Hanover, MD that provides high-level solutions to Federal Government customers and is always looking for high-quality professionals to join our team. Position Title: System Engineer level 2- up to 75% Telework Required Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph Location: Annapolis Junction Description: Securing operations of cloud infrastructure, platforms, and software, including the installation, maintenance, and improvement of cloud computing environments. Operation and maintenance of Trellix ePO for cloud endpoint security. Developing solutions for automating the deployment of secure cloud infrastructure. Deployment and operations of Trellix/McAfee NSP, ATD, ePO, and Private Global Threat Intelligence (pGTI) platforms for multiple environments. Deploy and manage comprehensive NSP/IPS architecture to support real-time security monitoring operations Education & Related Experience: Fifteen (15) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Salary Range: $130k-210k annually Salary ranges are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to: Knowledge, skills, & abilities Years of experience Education/Certifications Program placement Duties & responsibilities Internal equity More detailed information will be provided once those factors are known and addressed. OVERTIME STATEMENT: 40 hours is the standard workweek. Some programs may allow additional hours to be worked as needed. A limited number of programs have on-call requirements where compensation is provided for being engaged to wait. In all circumstances, technical employees will be paid for all time worked. BONUS STATEMENT:
All billable employees are eligible to earn quarterly bonuses that are based on the number of hours worked for that period. This hourly requirement is roughly 92% of hours available to bill in a given quarter. Quarterly Hours Bonuses are paid out on the same payroll as the time worked in that prior quarter (typically 21 days after the quarter ends.)
