Day to Day:
The Systems Engineer will be working as a member of the ENOC Application & Platform Support Tools Team supporting Broadcom Service Management Tools (Spectrum DX, CA Performance Center, and CA Unified Infrastructure Manager). You will respond to Break/Fix activities such as Poller restarts, Console connection issues and general performance degradation. They will be trained to leverage Event Management tools to ensure Service Assurance for a prioritized list of functional services, guide the creation of reports associated with the health of these services, and understand best practices to improve Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
The ideal candidate will eventually assume the role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) for database support for the Remedy Application environment (Oracle) as well as implementation of Database monitoring for a variety of applications.
Required Skills : -Oracle DB expertise (Dataguard, Oracle Enterprise Manager) -Senior level SQL skills -Systems Engineering experience(break fix, access requests, circuit utlization, routers and switches
