Tax Senior

Position Overview
The Tax Senior will play a critical role in our tax department, managing tax compliance and consulting projects for a variety of clients. This position requires a thorough understanding of tax regulations to provide accurate and effective tax strategies, ensuring compliance and maximizing tax efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Research and analyze tax issues, providing guidance on tax implications of various transactions
• Assist clients with tax planning and compliance strategies
• Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring deadlines are met
• Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary information for tax filings
• Train and mentor junior staff members on tax procedures and regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• CPA certification is a plus
• Experience with 1040 tax returns is advantageous
