Position Highlights:

• Role: Nurse Practitioner for Virtual Patient Care
• Location: Fully Remote
• Schedule: Flexible 10-hour work week
• Compensation: 1099 contract role at $60/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial video evaluations with new patients (aged 18 and older).
• Perform holistic assessments, review lab results, and prescribe medications for weight management, particularly GLP-1 agonists when appropriate.
• Engage with a diverse patient population, committed to inclusivity and evidence-based practices.
• Respond to patient inquiries through our secure portal and asynchronous chat regularly.
• Oversee prescription refills and manage chronic health conditions effectively.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in IN, TN, MO, and AL, with residency in one of these states.
• Certification: Board Certified (AGNP-BC or FNP-BC) through ANCC or AANP.
• Experience: Preferred 2 years of independent NP practice, with at least 1 year in weight loss medicine, including experience in prescribing GLP1 agonists.
• Ability to prescribe compounded medications is essential.
• A background in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is advantageous, along with familiarity in managing complex chronic conditions.
• Prior telemedicine or virtual care experience is preferred.
• Ability to meet state-mandated in-person supervision requirements at our St. Louis office occasionally.
