Position: Health & Disability Assessor
Work Environment: Remote, Home-Based
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time or Part-Time
Compensation: £37,500 per year
Join a respected organization that is on the lookout for dedicated and skilled Nurses, Paramedics, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists who are eager to make a meaningful impact while retaining their professional registration and compassion.
This opportunity allows you to transition into a non-treatment clinical position that harmonizes your sense of purpose with your desired lifestyle. If you hold at least one year of post-registration experience in the UK, this could be the transformative career change you’ve been searching for.
Key Responsibilities:
In your role as a Health & Disability Assessor, you will conduct structured conversations and evaluations, focusing on assessing how individuals are affected by their physical or mental health conditions, rather than providing clinical treatments. Your assessment expertise will guide you in producing concise, insightful reports that contribute to equitable outcomes.
All assessments utilize a functional approach, emphasizing what individuals can do rather than what they cannot.
Why You Should Consider This Position:
- Receive specialized training and personalized coaching from day one
- Potential to earn up to a 10% performance bonus, paid quarterly
- Benefit from private medical insurance and a comprehensive pension scheme
- Enjoy 25 days of vacation plus bank holidays
- Get paid time for continuing professional development (CPD) and reimbursement for your registration fee
- Experience flexible hybrid or fully remote working options
- Explore opportunities for advancement into leadership, quality assurance, or training roles
- Access lifestyle benefits and exclusive retail discounts
Essential Qualifications:
- Current NMC or HCPC registration (as a Nurse, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist)
- At least 12 months of UK-based experience post-registration
- Strong clinical judgement coupled with excellent documentation skills
- A genuine sense of empathy, objectivity, and a proactive attitude towards learning
- Comfortable engaging with a diverse range of health conditions
This role prioritizes listening, observing, understanding, and helping to inform decisions that significantly impact lives. Plus, with no requirements for night shifts, weekends, or on-call duties, you can reclaim your personal time.
Please note, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
If you’re ready to embark on a fulfilling career where you can leverage your clinical knowledge in fresh and inspiring ways, we can’t wait to hear from you.
