Join our innovative telemedicine team in Texas as we seek a skilled Family Practice, Family Medicine, or General Practitioner for a unique Chart Review Telemedicine role. This position is available immediately and offers a flexible commitment of just 8 hours per month over the course of a year.

In this collaborative position, you will supervise and work alongside dedicated In-home Nurse Practitioners. To qualify, candidates must hold a valid and unrestricted medical license in Texas and possess either an MD or DO designation. We are particularly looking for individuals specializing in Family Practice or Family Medicine, though General Practice candidates will also be considered.

Your responsibilities will include providing oversight without the need for direct patient care, as you will focus on quality assurance through chart reviews. Specifically, you will be expected to:

• Be available via phone or electronic communication during Nurse Practitioners’ working hours, which span 40 hours each week.
• Act as a Supervising Physician in accordance with state laws and the Nurse Practitioner Collaborative Practice Protocol Agreement.
• Conduct a monthly review of a 10% representative sample of charts, engaging monthly with Nurse Practitioners either in person or through virtual communication as required by Texas regulations.

Please note, this role allows for a maximum of 8 paid work hours monthly, calculated as two paid hours per Nurse Practitioner, for up to four NPs. The exact time commitment may vary each week based on your needs and submissions.
