    Are you passionate about providing exceptional support to customers? We invite dedicated individuals to join our team, where you’ll engage with clients and respond to inquiries from customers seeking information about goods and services on behalf of Five Star Call Centers. Your role will focus on assisting clients with questions related to debit card incentives, orders, and account balances, all while delivering top-notch service with a friendly and professional demeanor.

    This position allows you to work from the comfort of your home in the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

    Key Qualifications:

    • At least 3-6 months of experience in customer service or customer support is preferred.
    • Experience in a call center or office environment is a plus.
    • Solid computer skills and a comfort level with technology.
    • Quick adaptability and the ability to work autonomously.
    • Typing speed of 20-25 words per minute accurately.
    • Strong communication skills over the phone, including active listening.
    • Must be at least 18 years old.
    • A background check will be conducted in accordance with state and federal laws.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Handle a high volume of inbound calls efficiently and professionally.
    • Adhere to communication scripts for various topics throughout calls.
    • Understand customer needs, provide clarifications, and offer solutions or alternatives.
    • Utilize provided resources to ensure accurate and effective call handling.
    • Identify upselling opportunities and act on them when suitable.
    • Transition smoothly between tasks without sacrificing quality or efficiency.
    • Maintain availability at your desk with excellent punctuality and attendance.
    • Exhibit a positive and professional attitude in every customer interaction.
    • Be open to cross-training in additional areas as needed.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Starting pay is $14/hour, with an additional $1/hour shift differential for evening and weekend shifts.
    • Flexible work hours available, with shifts between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm (EST), Monday through Friday, plus rotating weekends.
    • Enjoy paid training that typically lasts 2-5 days from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (EST).
    • Be prepared to work during the holiday period from December 30 to January 2.
    • This role is available as part-time or full-time/temporary, offering 20-40 hours of work per week.

    Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Requirement: As this is a BYOD position, you will need to supply your own equipment and set up a dedicated workspace that meets the necessary criteria. You must have verified high-speed internet—secure, reliable, and dedicated—to meet business demands.

    Hardware/Software Specifications:

    • Processor: At least Intel Core i5 5200 Series or equivalent.
    • RAM: Minimum of 8GB, compatible with Windows 8.1 or higher.
    • Display: 1280×768 resolution or higher; dual monitors required.
    • USB headset required.
    • Note: Chromebooks, netbooks, or tablets are not supported (only laptops or desktops are acceptable).
    • Ensure up-to-date antivirus software is installed, and complete a recent scan (this will be verified prior to system login).
    • Firewall settings must be enabled (this will also be checked).
