    In this dynamic sales role, you will actively seek out new small to medium business customers within your designated territory. Your mission is to build and expand our customer base by expertly onboarding newly acquired accounts. This fast-paced position is designed for high achievers, utilizing a prioritized call list to engage prospects remotely through phone, video, and in-person meetings, alongside cutting-edge digital tools.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include:

    • Demonstrating strong appointment-setting skills, ensuring you connect with the right decision-makers weekly.
    • Employing effective selling techniques to drive results.
    • Identifying and understanding prospects’ incremental and programmatic needs.
    • Communicating Staples’ value propositions, product offerings, and capabilities across various categories.
    • Skillfully addressing objections to confidently close sales.
    • Using targeted selling tools to optimize your activities and accurately document customer interactions (e.g., Priority List, Tenfold, SFDC).
    • Collaborating internally with customer support, setup teams, and category specialists to move deals towards successful closure.
    • Implementing successful onboarding processes for new accounts and ensuring compliance with established programs.
    • Understanding the buying processes specific to various industries and aiding in product selection and standardization.
    • Building lasting “sticky” customer relationships that encourage repeat business with Staples.
    • Incorporating feedback from prospects to refine your sales strategy.
    • Presenting new customer assortments and pricing structures effectively.
    • Maintaining clear communication with prospects daily, ensuring professionalism in all interactions.

    Basic Qualifications Required:

    • 1-3 years of successful sales experience or proven success as a Staples B2B Sales Associate.
    • 3+ years of proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree.
    • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
    • Industry knowledge is a plus.
