    We are on the lookout for a dynamic Vacuum Pump Sales Specialist to enhance our sales team. In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted with promoting and selling vacuum pump systems and their associated products across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical acumen regarding vacuum pump systems, outstanding communication abilities, and a talent for relationship-building that drives sales growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Seek and capitalize on new business opportunities by generating leads, conducting thorough market research, and identifying potential clients within sectors that utilize vacuum systems, including manufacturing, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and laboratories.
    • Leverage your specialized knowledge of vacuum pumps and systems to deliver tailored solutions that align with clients’ unique needs.
    • Cultivate and nurture strong, lasting relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction levels and foster repeat business.
    • Craft and present engaging sales proposals, negotiate terms effectively, and successfully close deals to achieve or surpass sales targets.
    • Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams throughout the sales journey by providing technical support, conducting product demonstrations, and offering system recommendations.
    • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and new technological developments to position our vacuum pump offerings effectively.
    • Maintain precise records of sales activities, customer interactions, and the status of your pipeline, providing regular updates to management and contributing to sales forecasts.
    • Collaborate with the OTC Sales team through joint sales calls, product demonstrations, and technical support.
    • Engage in training programs and industry events to enhance your knowledge of new technologies, products, and sales techniques, while also training OTC Sales staff on products and applications.

    Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated experience in technical sales, especially in vacuum pump, industrial equipment, or engineering sectors.
    • Solid understanding of vacuum pump systems—including rotary vane pumps, dry pumps, and liquid ring pumps—and their various applications.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the capability to engage and influence customers at all levels.
    • Aptitude for simplifying complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Proven sales acumen with a history of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
    • Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for sales and exceptional customer service.
    • Capable of effectively managing multiple customer accounts and prioritizing tasks.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Willingness to travel to client locations and industry events as necessary.

    Education & Certifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
    • Relevant certifications or training in vacuum pump technology or industrial equipment sales would be advantageous.

    • Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for providing innovative solutions to customers’ technical challenges.
    • Flexibility to operate independently or as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced setting.
