    Symmetrio is seeking an enthusiastic and results-oriented VP of Business Development for their client, a trailblazer in advanced radiation therapy solutions. This pivotal role is focused on accelerating sales, securing business partnerships, and ultimately leading a dedicated sales team in the North American market. The successful candidate will specialize in promoting high-value capital equipment to hospitals and healthcare systems across the nation. A comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare sector, exceptional relationship-building abilities, and a solid history of driving revenue growth in the high-value capital equipment sphere are essential for this position. Experience in selling to hospitals, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), academic medical centers (AMCs), and healthcare systems is a non-negotiable requirement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Craft and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to successfully launch and promote the company’s radiation system in the U.S. market.
    • Conduct in-depth market analysis to pinpoint potential clients, recognize trends, and understand the competitive landscape and regulatory requisites.
    • Forge and nurture partnerships with crucial healthcare providers, distributors, and institutions.
    • Establish and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders at hospitals and health systems, including C-suite executives, department heads, and procurement managers.
    • Generate new business opportunities while overseeing the complete sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
    • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
    • Negotiate contracts and finalize sales to consistently achieve or exceed revenue goals.
    • Serve as the primary liaison for customers, ensuring product satisfaction while addressing any issues or concerns.
    • Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor actions to refine sales strategies and enhance our competitive edge.
    • Ensure all sales practices align with local healthcare regulations, guidelines, and ethical standards.
    • Provide management with timely and precise sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity summaries.

    Qualifications:

    • A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (an MBA is preferred).
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare sales, demonstrating a proven record of success in selling high-value capital equipment and software solutions.
    • A strong grasp of the healthcare industry, including knowledge of hospital operations, regulatory frameworks, and reimbursement models.
    • Superb communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
    • Willingness to travel as necessary within the designated territory.
    • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
