    Job Description

In this role, you will provide direct patient care in both synchronous and asynchronous formats across multiple states, ensuring a high standard of care while enhancing access to quality healthcare for all.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    Patient Care (Virtual)

    Engage with patients through our digital platform, administering care that spans both synchronous and asynchronous interactions within your licensed states.

    • Gather thorough medical histories and ask targeted questions to develop precise diagnoses for your patients.
    • Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations to guide effective treatment plans.
    • Utilize medical decision-making (MDM) to create appropriate care strategies for non-emergency conditions such as colds, flu cases, ear infections, urinary tract infections, allergies, rashes, and weight management.
    • Electronically prescribe medications, ensuring patients receive accurate dosage and administration recommendations.
    • Order diagnostic tests and facilitate referrals to other healthcare specialists when necessary.
    • Maintain comprehensive electronic medical records, documenting patients’ contact details, medical histories, prescribed treatments, and ongoing progress.
    • Comply with all corporate information security policies, swiftly identifying and reporting any security breaches while safeguarding the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of all Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
    • Oversee the follow-up on diagnostic testing results, ensuring appropriate treatment, referrals, and recovery plans are in place.

    Administrative Duties

    • Participate in required provider meetings to stay informed about the latest clinical guidelines.
    • Engage in quality assurance and initiatives aimed at improving patient care.
    • Work in collaboration with leadership to enhance care delivery and streamline operational processes.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education:

    • Medical Degree with board certification in either Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine.
    • A minimum of 5 years in a clinical setting, including substantial training in emergency medicine.
    • Active licensure in multiple states is mandatory.
    • Experience in telemedicine is highly advantageous.
    • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, thriving in a virtual care environment.
