Core Responsibilities:
- Engage in comprehensive legal research and perform detailed analysis to support case strategies.
- Compose pleadings, motions, briefs, and various other essential legal documents.
- Handle pre-trial discovery processes, including taking and defending depositions.
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and mediations, showcasing your litigation expertise.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff to facilitate case progress.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Illinois bar license in good standing.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in commercial litigation.
- Outstanding research, writing, and analytical capabilities.
- Proactive self-starter with a proven track record of managing a robust case load.
- Exceptional persuasive communication and advocacy skills are essential.
