We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Construction Lecturer to join our team and facilitate HNC Level 4 and BTEC Level 3 qualifications in Construction. This position offers the flexibility of remote teaching, featuring small class sizes of approximately 14 learners. Sessions are conducted through Microsoft Teams, ensuring an engaging virtual learning environment.

In this role, you will be teaching four days each week, with a dedicated day for planning and preparation. You’ll enjoy a two-week teaching break every six weeks for grading assignments and providing feedback to students. Your teaching schedule will begin at 9:00 AM with student registration, followed by two engaging 1.5-hour teaching sessions in the morning (inclusive of breaks), complemented by blended learning activities in the afternoon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting interactive sessions across a wide range of modules, such as the core principles of construction, surveying, civil engineering techniques, structural design, construction economics, and quantity surveying practices.
• Enhancing learner progress by delivering high-quality course content through a well-prepared curriculum and detailed assignment briefs.
• Overseeing and approving Off-the-Job learning hours to ensure compliance with funding requirements.
• Incorporating literacy and numeracy skills into your teaching, while aiding learners in achieving their Functional Skills, in collaboration with our dedicated Functional Skills tutor.
• Working closely with your assigned support coach to manage student attendance, conduct progress reviews, and handle administrative tasks, including uploading lesson reports.
