Position Overview
As a Data Input Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to accurately input a significant volume of data from diverse sources into our company’s comprehensive database system. Your meticulous attention to detail will be essential in ensuring that all data is processed efficiently, facilitating timely claims and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter customer and account information from various sources into the designated fields of our company database software.
- Utilize quality control techniques to identify and rectify any data entry errors.
- Scrutinize data for inconsistencies and seek additional information to resolve incomplete documentation.
- Alert designated department heads if there are issues with data acceptance in the system.
- Keep a daily production log to track and document your work and time accurately.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned to support team objectives.
Essential Skills
- Exceptional alpha and numeric recognition abilities are a must.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately.
- Capability to achieve a typing speed of 10,000 keystrokes per hour (approximately 45-50 words per minute).
- A minimum of two years of experience in a dedicated Data Entry role is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Adept at working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Consistent and reliable attendance during your assigned shifts is essential.
- Flexibility to work either Full-Time or Part-Time based on the specific role you’re applying for.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
- At least two years of experience in a full Data Entry capacity is preferred.
