To qualify for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- A qualified Solicitor with 5 years or more of post-qualification experience (PQE) in employment law
- Proficient in handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Experience in providing advice to both individuals and business clients
- A commercial mindset with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously
- Exceptional communication skills and a strong focus on client care
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on a variety of employment issues such as contracts, grievances, disciplinary actions, redundancies, and settlement agreements
- Representing clients in Employment Tribunal and County Court claims
- Delivering tailored HR and employment law guidance to businesses
- Drafting and negotiating an extensive range of employment documents
- Fostering strong relationships with both new and existing clients
- Managing your own caseload with comprehensive support from the wider team
