Position Overview:

As an Automation Consultant specializing in Automic / UC4, you will work from home while having the flexibility to travel across the UK and EMEA. This role offers a competitive salary of £75,000 – £100,000 based on experience, along with an attractive benefits package, including employer pension contributions and more.

Responsibilities of the Automation Consultant:

As part of our expanding services team, you will be an essential resource for our clients, providing guidance, contributing to projects, and sharing your expertise with our sales and marketing teams. Achieving certification with Broadcom and collaborating with their team to keep abreast of product developments will be vital. You will also need to stay informed about trends in the automation industry to ensure our offerings remain competitive.

What Your Typical Day Might Entail:

  • Leveraging industry insights to enhance our sales and marketing effectiveness
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing on campaigns that promote growth
  • Leading product demonstrations for clients
  • Working with sales to craft compelling proposals showcasing the power of Automic in addressing client challenges
  • Identifying suitable use cases and reference materials
  • Collaborating effectively with client stakeholders and vendor account managers
  • Facilitating scoping workshops to gather essential information for proposal development
  • Understanding the business requirements of clients and the industry
  • Creating comprehensive high-level design documents
  • Overseeing product configuration, upgrades, and implementations
  • Managing and coordinating project teams
  • Fostering high user adoption rates for implemented solutions and managing client relationships

Your Qualifications:

Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience as an Automation Consultant or Analyst
  • Proven experience in automation presales activities, including scoping for automation roadmaps supporting digital transformations, effort estimations, pricing, and ROI analysis
  • Expertise in working with automation platforms within large organizations
  • Ability to articulate the business value of automation to clients, going beyond mere functions and features
  • Experience in managing delivery teams
  • Collaborative experience with various departments
  • Familiarity with running a services practice
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential (knowledge of other Northern European languages is a plus)
  • Capability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical clients
  • Outstanding customer-facing skills, along with excellent presentation and communication abilities
