Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and leverage established relationships with various local authorities and drainage agencies to enhance your daily work and project success.
- Utilize exceptional verbal and in-person communication skills to engage in site visits and meetings, adeptly responding to design modifications and delivering efficient, practical solutions.
- Nurture and expand client relationships, identifying potential project opportunities in your areas of expertise.
- Define project briefs, devise effective strategies, and conduct thorough feasibility studies tailored to client needs.

Qualifications for Success:
- A robust background in the design of drainage systems (including SuDS), highways, infrastructure, and external works, spanning the concept, planning, preliminary design, technical approvals, and construction phases.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microdrainage is crucial; familiarity with BIM technologies, including Navisworks, is also strongly desired as our client is an industry leader in this area.
- A valid driving license is mandatory.
- The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, supplemented by relevant postgraduate experience in a consultancy context, with a solid understanding of development and drainage design.
- Experience in leading the design for both major and minor commercial and residential projects, from initial appraisal through planning and detailed design for infrastructure, external works, and drainage, is essential.
