Position Overview
Our client seeks skilled Employment & Compensation Attorneys to enhance their legal team. The ideal candidates will be adept in crafting legal documents, ensuring compliance through meticulous file reviews, and effectively managing legal submissions. This remote opportunity is designed for attorneys who can efficiently handle a rising caseload.
Core Responsibilities
- Draft legal motions and pleadings with precision.
- Conduct thorough reviews of case files for compliance and accuracy.
- Spot and rectify discrepancies within case files.
- File necessary legal documents, particularly for New York-licensed attorneys.
- Efficiently manage case assignments while adhering to deadlines.
- Represent clients in legal proceedings (specific to NY-licensed attorneys).
Desired Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active law license (preferably in NY, although candidates from other jurisdictions will be considered if experience aligns).
- A minimum of 2 years of expertise in employment and compensation law.
- Outstanding legal research and writing capabilities.
- Proficiency in compliance assessments and document filing.
