In the role of Licensed Clinical Therapist / Independent Licensed Therapist, you will address a wide spectrum of mental health disorders, reflective of our diverse patient population. Your expertise will guide patients through individualized and family therapy, meeting their unique needs.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
Building strong therapeutic alliances with patients and coordinating care effectively with external providers
Conducting outpatient psychiatric evaluations and delivering ongoing psychotherapy
Assessing and screening patients for common mental health and substance use disorders
Implementing evidence-based treatment strategies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other effective modalities
Monitoring treatment efficacy and tracking patients’ clinical symptom changes and treatment responses
Engaging in community outreach through presentations and educational lectures
Maintaining comprehensive and accurate electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a similar counseling field
A valid, unrestricted license (LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC) in Massachusetts
Eligibility to enroll as a provider with Medicare, or the ability to opt-out prior to starting this role
Preferred Qualifications:
Over two years of post-Master’s professional social work or clinical experience
Experience in providing direct therapy services to individuals and families
Proficiency in using professional communication and medical documentation software, including Excel, Outlook, and Athena RMS (or other EHRs)
A demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively

Compensation for this role ranges from $59,500 to $116,600 annually, based on a full-time schedule. Pay is influenced by factors such as local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group adheres to applicable minimum wage laws.
