In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously evaluating plans for both residential and commercial developments, all while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting comprehensive reviews of plans and drawings to ensure compliance with Building Control regulations
• Detecting and documenting any discrepancies or issues within the plans
• Collaborating effectively with architects and various stakeholders
• Offering expert advice and guidance to guarantee plans adhere to regulatory standards
• Keeping detailed records of plan assessments and communications
• Ensuring the timely completion of plan reviews
• Staying informed about the latest changes in Building Control standards and regulations
• Facilitating clear communication with the internal team and clients

Qualifications Required:

• Proven experience in Building Control, with a robust understanding of applicable regulations and standards
• Strong proficiency in interpreting construction plans and drawings
• Exceptional attention to detail with solid analytical skills

• Effective time management abilities while working remotely
• Self-driven and adept at working independently
• Familiarity with digital tools and software utilized in plan checking
