    • Engage collaboratively within a dynamic project team alongside fellow engineers and designers.
    • Analyze bid specifications for water and wastewater treatment systems during the tendering process to ascertain the necessary mechanical, electrical, and control equipment for specification and pricing.
    • Scrutinize the process design of water treatment systems for precision at the onset of each project.
    • Conduct thorough design activities, calculations, and equipment specifications for industrial water treatment systems. This includes a diverse range of equipment such as screens, pumps, blowers, mixers, constructed and field-erected tanks, flares, compressors, DAFs, heat exchangers, chemical pumps, boilers, CHP systems, and H2S removal systems.
    • Collaborate with the drafting team to develop comprehensive drawings, including process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, tank drawings, equipment layouts, and location schematics.
    • Utilize CAD software to create process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, tank drawings, and general equipment arrangement layouts for various projects.
    • Define technical requirements for process equipment and construction subcontractors, while drafting specifications for purchase requisitions.
    • Evaluate supplier proposals against technical specifications, schedule adherence, and budget constraints.
    • Advise on the best-suited suppliers who can meet project specifications, timelines, and budgetary needs for procurement.
    • Conduct site visits to vendor facilities for kickoff meetings, interim inspections, and final assessments of process equipment before it is shipped to job sites.
    • Compile project lists for process equipment, manual and control valves, instruments, motors, utility requirements, process controls, and alarms.
    • Participate in construction site visits, engaging with contractors to resolve technical inquiries during the construction of wastewater treatment facilities.
    • Formulate checkout and commissioning plans to seamlessly transition from the construction phase to process startup.
    • Oversee the checkout and commissioning of mechanical and electrical equipment in water treatment facilities prior to startup and acceptance of wastewater processes.
    • Attend technical meetings, assess technical drawings, and ensure adherence to best engineering practices while integrating lessons learned into new project initiatives.
    • Support Project Managers in developing schedules using scheduling software; craft project execution plans and resource forecasts related to engineering and technical activities for projects.
    • A Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline is required, with a preference for Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering.
    • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is essential.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD software is a must, and familiarity with AutoCAD Inventor/Plant 3D or other 3D modeling, including piping, is advantageous.
