    Job Description

Join Thriveworks as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in South Carolina!

At Thriveworks, our commitment to delivering safe and effective care via telemedicine drives our approach. While we offer stimulant medications when appropriate, we prioritize individualized treatment plans based on each client’s unique symptoms and diagnoses, allowing our clinicians the discretion to make informed choices. Please note that we currently do not treat substance use disorders, and we carefully refer clients to in-person providers for more complex issues that cannot be addressed solely through telehealth.

As a Thriveworks Nurse Practitioner, you will provide compassionate care to a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and more. You will predominantly work with adults and adolescents, with an exciting goal of extending our services across all age groups in the future.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Active Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

    • Master’s degree in Nursing, including prescriptive authority

    • Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus

    • Experience of at least three years in a relevant role is advantageous

    • Must hold a valid license to practice in South Carolina

    • Participation in our in-house training on ADHD treatment standards and guidelines is required, culminating in a certification exam. All new hires will engage with ADHD clients but there are no quotas for treatment or prescriptions.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • This fee-for-service position offers a salary range of $130,000 to $187,000 annually, based on 25-35 clinical hours per week.

    Your Role Will Include:

    • Conducting thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations through a continuous telemedicine platform

    • Prescribing medications to alleviate mental health issues, as appropriate

    • Collaborating with clients to develop personalized care plans

    • Completing necessary documentation and utilizing assessment tools for client progress

    • Adhering to Thriveworks’ Clinical Practice Guidelines

    • Consulting with our Regional Clinic Directors and team members regarding client programs and services across various locations

    What We Offer:

We prioritize the well-being of our employees, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to excel in their roles, ultimately focusing on delivering outstanding care to clients. Our benefits include:

    • Fully remote position with support from our dedicated Medical Assistants

    • Comprehensive Group Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, along with options for disability, life, and liability insurance. Additional benefits include PTO, 401K with a 3% employer match, CEU reimbursement, and student loan repayment

    • Paid orientation, credentialing, malpractice coverage, and in-house professional development opportunities, including case consultation groups

    • Annual salary increases and performance-based bonuses
