Job Description
Salary: $40 / Hour
Location: Suffolk, VA District
Position: Remote Special Education Teachers for the 25/26 School Year
Start Date: August 10, 2025
Duration: Full 25/26 School Year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Opportunities:
– Engage with Homebound SPED Students through a virtual teaching format
– Interviews will be conducted over the summer to prepare for the upcoming academic year!
Qualifications: A valid Virginia Teaching license and previous experience in the field are essential.
This role is a W2 position through Amergis Staffing (not directly with the district). You will be contracted for specific hours, with no unpaid after-school obligations.
