As a Consulting Verification of Benefits Specialist, you will be integral to our operations, ensuring seamless management of vital billing and claims processes. This contract position is ideal for individuals with a robust background in CMD, mental health, medical billing, claims processing, and EOB review. Key Responsibilities:
Your duties as a VOB Specialist will include:

1. Overseeing the Verification of Benefits (VOB) process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
2. Assessing and analyzing Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and medical claims to identify and resolve discrepancies.
3. Collaborating with behavioral and mental health teams to cater to specific billing requirements.
4. Conducting thorough audits of billing procedures to pinpoint areas for enhancement and implementing necessary improvements.
5. Acting as a subject matter expert on CMD, offering expertise and support to your colleagues.
6. Engaging with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to address billing and claims issues.
7. Keeping abreast of current healthcare regulations and practices to optimize your performance.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

1. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry.
2. Demonstrated expertise in CMD, mental health, medical billing, claims handling, and EOB evaluations.
3. A solid understanding of Verification of Benefits (VOB) procedures.
4. Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
5. Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
