Key Responsibilities:
Your duties as a VOB Specialist will include:
- Overseeing the Verification of Benefits (VOB) process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Assessing and analyzing Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and medical claims to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborating with behavioral and mental health teams to cater to specific billing requirements.
- Conducting thorough audits of billing procedures to pinpoint areas for enhancement and implementing necessary improvements.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on CMD, offering expertise and support to your colleagues.
- Engaging with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to address billing and claims issues.
- Keeping abreast of current healthcare regulations and practices to optimize your performance.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in CMD, mental health, medical billing, claims handling, and EOB evaluations.
- A solid understanding of Verification of Benefits (VOB) procedures.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
