Compensation: Salary ranges from $95,000 to $105,000, plus opportunities for yearly bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the financial planning and analysis efforts at the account level, crafting robust annual budgets rooted in operational projections and creating processes to monitor actual performance against these benchmarks while pinpointing risks and opportunities.
- Enhance financial outcomes by analyzing financial results, tracking variances, and discerning trends; offering performance insights and strategic recommendations to management.
- Oversee the weekly financial flash reports by collaborating with field operators to ensure accuracy and communicate the account’s financial status in relation to the budget.
- Guarantee the precision of financial statements during the month-end close by reconciling transactions and aligning financial data.
- Develop client-facing presentations that summarize financial performance, operational metrics, and forecasts.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, encompassing various aspects including monthly close, audit reporting, and distribution management.
- Conduct detailed reviews of the general ledger and balance sheets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve various accounting and reconciliation issues.
- Efficiently manage all Accounts Receivables.
- Maintain strict inventory and cost control measures.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Handle related duties and special projects as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
- At least two years of hands-on experience in revenue control, financial planning, and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple accounts or locations.
- Prior accounting knowledge in the foodservice or retail industry is essential; experience in foodservice operations is a plus.
- Ability to produce monthly financial statements, key performance reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a knack for planning and controlling intricate financial processes.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash/credit card reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to navigate multiple priorities and maintain effective relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical abilities combined with organizational prowess.
- Capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
