    UK Remote | £28,050 – £33,300 + Benefits. This role may be offered as a fixed-term contract (end date to be confirmed) or as a permanent position.

    Be part of our Payments team

    We are seeking passionate Expert Customer Operations Advisers (COps) to join our Payments department. We are looking for knowledgeable individuals who are eager to become subject matter experts in Payments. Our team of experts will handle some of the most intricate issues in Payments, including but not limited to:

    • Addressing escalated payment inquiries through chat, workflows, emails, and calls, including completing customer callbacks.
    • Providing real-time support to Monzonauts during live hangouts.
    • Managing the Credit Payment Recovery (CPR) process.
    • Facilitating interbank communications for both domestic and international transactions.
    • Overseeing CASS processes.
    • Uploading and processing paper direct debit instructions.
    • Executing Bacs recalls.
    • Proactively troubleshooting and resolving complex, technical customer inquiries, referencing a range of scheme documentation beyond Guru.
    • Adapting to evolving tasks and demonstrating resilience amidst changes in the dynamic Payments sector at Monzo.
    • Enjoying the challenge of investigating and resolving intricate cases.
    • Striving for optimal outcomes for customers.
    • Demonstrating a keen interest in improving processes and guidance.
    • Being comfortable with making and receiving calls.
    • Exhibiting a passion for coaching and mentoring less experienced COps.
    • Using analytical thinking to support confident decision-making.
    • Engaging effectively with peers and stakeholders across Monzo.
    • Upholding Monzo’s core values in all interactions.
    • Managing conflicting priorities and adapting to diverse workflows across multiple platforms according to business needs.
